Why is diet so challenging?
It’s a simple question and one I’m sure you’ve asked yourself before, but why is it that in
today’s world, with TONS of diets and resources and guides and tricks, it STILL remains one of the hardest parts of fitness.
The problem really comes down to two things, knowledge and consistency.
With all the resources that we have today it’s easy to get lost or confused, and incorrectly following a diet can sometimes be worse than not dieting at all!
Knowledge about macros, calorie deficits, protein, etc. before starting a diet is incredibly important to your long-term success and goals and will ensure that you reach your long-term goals.
The other part is consistency.
Diet takes time and effort, but is the FOUNDATION to your health and fitness goals.
You could spend hours in the gym everyday, but without a CONSISTENT nutritional plan you’ll find yourself not reaching your goals or facing plateaus.
Once you make a health goal, make sure you plan out your diet accordingly UNTIL you reach your goal!
Three days of eating correctly won’t undo four days of incorrect diet. Make sure you plan your diet out, stick with it, and you’ll reach your goals!
